A constructivist view over Europeanization

This book starts with an introduction to the theoretical approaches to social reality, by emphasizing the differences between the most known social paradigms. Subsequently, it discusses the greatest changes in the European social reality of the 21st century and the conceptual differences between Europeanization and European integration. Then, in order to understand better the meanings of the European reality, the book opens the third chapter in which it analyzes the most unique details of the new European lifestyle, namely the competition policy together with the fourth generation of rights- the consumer rights.

This research highlights the importance of social media in crises management and identifies it as a tool for solving crises  but also as a possible crisis trigger if not used correctly. Because social media is about transmitting information, socializing, and negotiating meanings, it is also vital for transmitting correct information during crises, and offering a well-managed place for socialization, debate and information dissemination.
